QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented Freelance QA Engineer to help ensure the quality of Diricare’s products and services. The role will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, execute test scenarios, document product knowledge, and provide clear testing reports.

This position is suitable for individuals who enjoy finding issues, validating product behavior, organizing information, and helping teams deliver reliable software.

Responsibilities:

• Review product requirements, user stories, and business workflows to understand features and identify potential gaps.
• Create and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to ensure product quality.
• Identify, document, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure all features meet acceptance criteria before release.
• Maintain testing documentation, product knowledge, and feature guides, keeping them up to date.
• Collaborate with QA and Engineering teams, track testing progress, and prepare testing summaries and release readiness reports.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or completed a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile development.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, reporting bugs, and documenting test results.
• Familiar with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Trello.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with great attention to detail.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Basic understanding of APIs and software development concepts is a plus.
